Plans To Build Carrigtwohill’s Long-Awaited Community College Pass With No Appeals

The project took one more step towards reality this week

Planning for the school, which was granted by Cork County Council in April, has been met with no appeals by An Bord Pleanala.

The Echo reports the school has been in the pipeline for the East Cork town since 2012, following multiple false starts.

The development will see the construction of 3 school buildings including a two primary schools and a secondary school.

It will include multiple special needs units as well as woodwork and metalwork facilities.
