Police officers in the north who want to attend this year’s Pride march in Belfast will not be allowed to do so in uniform.
PSNI officers first paraded in uniform at the event in 2017.
Since then the police have been criticised, with some saying their attendance could be seen as an official endorsement of gay rights’ campaign issues.
PSNI Assistant Chief Constable Bobby Singleton says he recognises many people with be disappointment with the announcement.
