Property prices increase by over 14%

Property prices increased by 14.4% in the year to May.
That’s only slightly down on the 14.5% rise recorded in the 12 months to April.
CSO figures show the price of a home rose by 16.6% outside Dublin and 11.7% in the capital.
The median price of a home bought in the year to May was €290,000.
