Wearing a mask on public transportation is a ‘no brainer’.

That’s the view of one public health expert who believes more people will be infected with Covid-19 over the winter months.

Health Minister Stephen Donnelly says there are no plans to make mask wearing mandatory, but he’s concerned about the low numbers of people wearing them on public transport.

UCD Professor of Medicine and Infectious Disease Dr. Jack Lambert says people should think about wearing masks on public transport.
