R Kelly has been found guilty of grooming and abusing women and children.
The R-and-B star’s trial heard he recruited and trafficked girls and boys for sex.
The 54-year-old was convicted yesterday of racketeering charges – after prosecutors argued he was the leader of a criminal enterprise that also involved assistants and bodyguards.
Journalist Jim DeRogatis says it’s taken far too long to convict him.
“When my partner at the Sun Times and I did the first investigative report in December of 2000 it had already been ongoing for 9 years.
“We never thought it would still be ongoing in 2021.”
