Rail unions in Britain, are being accused of unfairly cutting people off from hospitals, schools and work in the biggest strike of its kind in more than 30 years.

40-thousand RMT members from 13 operators and Network Rail have walked out in a row over pay and jobs.

Though with millions of commuters choosing to work from home, ministers don’t think unions have made the impact they’d have hoped.

Labour’s leader asked frontbenchers not to join picket lines.
