Research Shows Children Whose Parents Regularly Shout And Smack Them More Likely To Develop Mental Health Issues By Age 9

Research shows children whose parents regularly shout at them and smack them are more likely to develop mental health issues by the age of nine.

The study found one in ten kids showed symptoms of anxiety, aggression and social withdrawal.

It also found girls were more likely than boys to be in the high-risk category.
