Roy Keane turns down Sunderland job
Roy Keane has turned down the vacant managerial job at Sunderland, according to sports publication ‘The Athletic’.
Former Republic of Ireland skipper Keane had held discussions with the League One club that he previously managed between 2006 and 2008.
But following those conversations, Keane is now out of consideration for the role.
The Cork native has not been in front line management since departing Ipswich Town in 2011.
