Scotland: Man (70) Found Guilty Of Threatening To Assassinate Nicola Sturgeon

In Scotland, a man’s been found guilty of writing a social media post in which he threatened to assassinate Nicola Sturgeon.

Glasgow High Court heard 70-year-old William Curtis sent a number of aggressive messages to Scotland’s First Minister in 2019.

Jurors also ruled Curtis and another man assaulted and abducted a sheriff in a car park in Aberdeenshire in 2021 – something he’d tried to claim was someone else.
