A search is under way for the remains of a teenager who was murdered and secretly buried by the IRA in 1975.

Digging resumed today at Bragan Bog in County Monaghan, as investigators search for the body of 19-year-old Columba McVeigh from County Tyrone.

Investigators are searching an area of around two acres of ground, where they believe Columba was buried after he went missing 47 years ago.

He is one of the "Disappeared" victims of the Troubles whose bodies have yet to be found.
