Sentencing Of Former British Soldier For 1988 Manslaughter In Tyrone To Take Place On Thursday

Sentencing of a former British soldier for manslaughter in County Tyrone in 1988 will take place next Thursday.

It had been expected to take place today.

However, a judge told a court in Belfast there were a number of issues that had to be considered.

In November, 53 year old David Jonathan Holden was convicted of the manslaughter of Aidan McAnespie at an army checkpoint more than 30 years ago.
