Minister Simon Coveney has been evacuated from an event in Northern Ireland following security alert
The Minister is understood to have been mid speech at a Belfast community centre when there was a security alert.
The Minister was taken to a ‘secure location’ after a suspect device was reportedly found in the venue car park.
A spokesman says the Minister and his team are safe and have been taken to a secure location as the PSNI handle the alert
