Status Orange rain warning issued for Cork

A Status Orange rain warning for Cork comes into effect today, along with a separate Status Yellow rain warning for 12 other counties.
The warning for the entire county will come into place at 6 six this evening and will remain in place for 24 hours.
Met Éireann said that persistent and sometimes heavy rainfall may cause localised flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.
