Taoiseach admits Government are struggling to find accommodation for Ukrainian refugees

The Taoiseach has said the Government is finding it very challenging to find accommodation for Ukrainian refugees.

It comes after a Government u-turn allowed a number of refugees to remain in Killarney instead of being uprooted to Westport.

Around 55,000 people have sought international protection in Ireland this year compared with 7,500 last year.

Taoiseach Micheál Martin has admitted they’re struggling.
