Temporary accommodation centre to open this weekend for Ukrainian refugees
A temporary accommodation centre is expected to open this evening, to house Ukrainian refugees.
It comes as over 40 new arrivals were denied accommodation over the weekend, as the State ran out of space.
Coalition party leaders along with the Housing Minister and the Equlity Minister will meet later to consider a number of solutions.
Secretary General of the Red Cross, Liam O’Dwyer, says some local councils have been slow to respond to the crisis.
