The Government Has No plans To Change The School Calendar Over Rising Rates Of Covid-19

That's according to the Higher Education Minister

Northern Ireland will introduce remote learning for some secondary school students from the end of January for at least two weeks.

There have been calls for schools in the Republic to go back later than planned after Christmas if there's a surge of Covid-19 cases.

Minister Simon Harris says there are currently no plans to do that:
