  • Consumers are being urged to shop around when it comes to energy prices. That's the message from the Consumers Association of Ireland as households will have to wait a few months for electricity and gas costs to drop.
  • A campaign is underway to gather 9,165 Irish signatures as part of an EU-wide petition to make Europe tobacco-free by 2030. One million signatures are required from seven EU States in order for the European Commission to act on the proposal.
