- The Simon Communities of Ireland says it has heard of people seeking stress medication since the announcement of the ending of the eviction ban. It will expire on March 31st, with the Government saying it'll not be re-introduced even if homeless figures rise.
- It looks like there could be another ECB interest rate rise next week. It's expected the European Central Bank will put up interest rates by 0.5 per cent.
- 6,000,000 people have been displaced in Turkey and Syria as a result of last month's earthquake. UNICEF is continuing to supply humanitarian aid as the death toll now sits at just over 50-thousand people.
- Excitement's building to tonight's Oscars. There are a record 14 Irish nominations, including nine nods for the Banshees of Inisherin.
