- Cork Penny Dinners are calling on the Government to increase pensions. It comes as Caitriona Twomey from the charity says there has been an increase in people coming to them for help as they struggle with the cost of living.
- Traffic will be diverted in the city centre today - due to the closure of Henry Street, near the Mercy University Hospital. It's part of a traffic management plan to allow for the removal of a temporary MRI unit from the hospital - and will be in place until 2 o’clock this afternoon.
- The Department of Foreign Affairs must get on top of passport applications to avoid disruption to travellers this summer. TD Michael Ring says the Passport Service must ensure it deals with incorrect or incomplete applications promptly.
- It's reported two people have been hurt in Russian missile attacks on the hometown of Ukraine's Eurovision entrants.The act heard about what happened in Ternopil just minutes before going on stage in Liverpool last night.
