The Port of Dunkirk in France are looking to establish new trade links with Ireland and are said to be interested in creating new freight routes to Cork and Waterford

The Journal reports that executives from the Port of Dunkirk were in Dublin this week to discuss trade links.

Ministers are expected to sign off on the creation of five new surgical hubs across the country to deal with the backlog of planned operations.

The hubs will be located in Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford and Dublin at a cost of up to 100 million euro.

Google’s ‘Year in Search’ gives a snapshot of what Irish people were searching most in 2022.

The online word-game topped the list, followed by Ukraine and Queen Elizabeth – while ‘how to get a covid cert?’ and ‘what is NATO?’ were among the most searched questions.
