National autism charity As I Am say they have seen a huge increase in demand for their service and say now is the time for anyone thinking about supporting them to get involved.

As I Am say 1 in 65 Irish people live with autism and have seen a 300 per cent increase in demand for their service up to the end of last year.

The group offer training programmes and employment support and have set up a number social clubs involving art, music and books.
