Today’s Exchequer Figures Reveal €5 Billion Surplus In Nation’s Finances For Past 12 Months

Exchequer figures published today – reveal a five billion euro surplus in the nation’s finances – for the past 12 months.
This compares to a deficit of €5.7 billion recorded to the end of July 2021 -an improvement of €10.7 billion.
Gross revenue to the end of July stood at €58.2 billion – an increase of 11 per cent – compared to the end of July 2021.
