Travel agents say uncertainty about the rules on international travel could be putting people off taking trips

Non-essential travel will be permitted again from tomorrow for those with an EU Digital Covid Cert.

People who aren’t vaccinated can also travel if they are tested for Covid-19 before departure.

Pat Dawson from the Irish Travel Agents Association says the EU has lots of helpful information online:

“There is a good app called reopen EU, and that has many, many of the explanations of the restrictions, and also people could look at governmentie/travel, and that certainly is also a good way to get information but it’s looking very positive, as we as we speak.”
