UK: Letter From Claude Monet To Former Landlord Up For Auction

A letter from Claude Monet to his former landlord is up for auction, in which he apologises for leaving a big painting behind.

The two-page apology was written after the French artist left the painting behind for two decades.

The letter is expected to get between 4 and 7,000 euro at Chiswick’s Auctions in the UK.
