Rishi Sunak will become British Prime Minister, after Liz Truss officially steps down this morning.
The US President Joe Biden has called it a ‘ground-breaking milestone’, as Rishi Sunak will be the first British Asian to lead the country.
It’s understood Jeremy Hunt will remain Chancellor, with an economic statement lined up for Monday.
