Ukraine: President advisor says 13,000 troops have been killed so far

An advisor to President Zelenskyy says 13,000 Ukrainian troops have been killed so far in the war with Russia.

It’s the first official estimate since the summer of how many soldiers may have died.

American officials recently calculated that Russia’s military has seen more than 100,000 personnel killed and wounded and that Kyiv’s probably suffered similar losses.

Meanwhile, after Russian attacks against energy infrastructure, the city’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko, is warning people to be prepared for long periods without power:

“The Russians tried to bring depression of citizens instead them I talked to our citizens base very angry and ready to stay and ready to fight.”
