Ulster Bank announces first redundancy programmes

Ulster Bank’s announced the first redundancy programmes as part of its phased withdrawal from the Irish market.

In a statement the bank says it is a significant milestone and, through two programmes, around 600 staff will leave the bank from March next year.

It says further redundancy programmes will be opened in 2023 and beyond.
