UN head describes attacks on Ukrainian nuclear plant as ‘suicide’

The head of the United Nations says continuing attacks on Europe’s largest nuclear plant in southeastern Ukraine is “suicide”.

Shelling over the weekend hurt one worker, and damaged radiation sensors, at the facility in Zaporizhzhia.

Ukraine and Russia have traded accusations about who was responsible.

UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres wants inspectors from the international nuclear watchdog to be allowed in.
