Unions see positive response to public pay sector deal

The initial response from union members to a proposed public sector pay deal has been positive.
That’s according to the general secretary of the Irish National Teachers’ Organisation.
Cabinet Ministers today backed the proposal from the Workplace Relations Commission, which will see workers get a pay rise of 6.5% over two years.
The INTO’s John Boyle says members are already considering the detail of the pay agreement.
