The United States says it’s destroyed the last of its declared chemical weapons stockpile.
Senior Republican politician, Mitch McConnell, has released a statement revealing it happened in the state of Kentucky.
The US faced a deadline of the end of September to get rid of what it had, under a 1997 agreement – signed by 193 countries.
