US Democrat Mark Kelly is projected to win re-election to the Senate in the battleground state of Arizona.
There are just two more races to be decided in Nevada – which is a tie – and Georgia which will go to a fresh ballot next month.
The Democrats now only need one more seat to maintain control of the Senate.
