US Secretary Of State Says China’s “Unacceptable” Surveillance Programme “Exposed To World”

The US Secretary of State says China’s “unacceptable” surveillance programme has been “exposed to the world”.

Antony Blinken has met with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, in a first meeting between the two nations since an alleged spy balloon was shot down over America.

Beijing has denied the allegations.

Mr Blinken also warned there will be “consequences” if China considers supplying weapons to Russia in its war with Ukraine.
