USA: Whistle-Blower Who Leaked Classified Pentagon Papers In 1971, Daniel Ellsberg (92) Dies

Daniel Ellsberg, the British analyst and whistle-blower who leaked classified Pentagon Papers in 1971, has died aged 92.

The leak revealed the US government’s deception about the Vietnam War, setting off a major freedom-of-the-press battle.

His family say he died of pancreatic cancer at his home in California.
