Wind Energy Ireland: Visit A Wind Farm This Summer

Visit a wind farm this summer.

That’s the call from Wind Energy Ireland, which is encouraging everyone to get out in the wind this June.

There’s almost a dozen windfarms across the country.

Noel Cunniffe, Wind Energy Ireland CEO, says the visits are all free of charge:

“I want people to get out and experience, not just the clean energy that these wind farms can provide, but a lot of the variety that’s there in terms of walking trails, biking trails, and they often offer some incredible picnic areas as well. So this month we want people to go out experience your local wind farm”.
