Several schools across the country have recorded cases of the virus since they've reopened in the past ten days.

Yesterday Scoil Bhríde Eglantine in Douglas confirmed a case of the virus had been detected in the school

It’s understood a letter has been sent to families of those affected by the confirmed case.

Dr Mike Ryan, from the WHO, says parents shouldn't feel guilty if their child gets the virus.
