Colm Keane, the Youghal born author and journalist, has passed away at the age of 70.
He had previously been diagnosed with cancer, and wrote extensively on topics like Bray Wanderers football club and St Brigid.
Colm spent 26 years with RTE, presenting and producing documentaries on music, sport, politics, crime and history.
He is pre-deceased by his son Sean, who passed away in 2007.
