The possibility of school profiling being included in any hybrid model for the 2022 Leaving Cert has been described as 'unfair'.
It would mean a school's previous exam performance would be taken into account when assessing calculated grades.
There have been renewed calls for the Education Minister to clarify what is happening with this years exams.
Teacher at Coláiste Iognáid in Galway, Ray Silke, believes many students would be at a disadvantage if school profiling was part of the process.
"Profiling is unfair. It's unfair on individual who might be exceptional, and because they didn't sit the Junior Cert two years ago through no fault of their own they'll be disadvantaged.
"I think a modification on the questions is very important to give students more choice, for instance instead of 5 out of 6 they'd do 3 out of 6 or 7."
