Today is the 14th day of the restrictions, which the South/South West Hospital Group says were caused by a lack of staff at the hospitals Acute Medical Assessment Unit.
More staff are starting at the unit in Sepetmber, however local GPs say the current restrictions are putting patient safety in danger.
The protest will take place in the square in Bantry at 1pm.
Speaking to RedFM News, local TD Michael Collins says the government and the HSE should have acted sooner:
"They left it come to a crisis by the debt crisis by now. I think that if we can continue the pressure, they may eventually understand the anger and the upset, and the frustration of the people of West Cork to have been left by the agency and our government, the government is well aware of the situation. Since 2018 that this was going to happen. And unfortunately all parties are stood idly by and lifted up"
