Representatives from the pub, restaurant and hotel trade are meeting with Government officials around now to discuss the implementation of Covid restrictions.
The Taoiseach has confirmed there will be anomalies in the system which may mean bars and nightclubs are treated differently.
Michael Martin defended the Government's stance - saying they had to react quickly to changing public health advice.
Labour leader Alan Kelly believes the different rules for different areas will be impossible to enforce:
"As somebody who worked for Failté Ireland for nearly a decade, what has been put to them and others as regards how they are meant to create rules around unnatural unnatural regulations. It's simply not going to work."
