This morning Neil spoke to Vika, a Ukranian national, who has a business in Ballincollig. She left Kyiv on Thursday after hearing explosions and has now been in her car for the last 5 days with her friend and her friend’s young child trying to get to safety.
They are currently just over 3kms from the Polish border and have only moved 2km in the last 24 hours.
