Cork film maker Carmel Winters (Float Like A Butterfly) & author Manchán Magan talk to Dave about the upsurge in interest in the Irish language. Inspired by Manchán’s book ‘32 Words for Field’, Carmel created the ‘Ways Of Seeing’ project where she gathered a collective of brilliant visual artists together to create images in response to words from that book. A selection of these word/image twins were installed in windows and billboards throughout the town of Skibbereen as part of the Skibbereen Arts Festival with the Uileann Art Centre.
