A vape shop worker in the city doesn’t believe banning single use vapes will stop people vaping.
The Health Minister brought proposals to ban disposable vapes to cabinet this morning.
Stephen Donnelly also plans to restrict flavours as well as advertising at shop tills.
Speaking to RedFM News, Kathleen O’Keeffe from Wicked Vapes on Oliver Plunkett Street says people will just buy rechargeable vapes instead
"You see the way the market runs, they're talking about banning disposables but already on the market are rechargeable disposables. So, it's like that game, you know where you knock one down and another one pops up. That's the nature of the business"
