Detours will be in operation via Junctions 12 and 13 during the closure hours

3. M8 Motorway: between Junction 13 - Junction 12 North Bound, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork.
Periods of Closure
1. From 17.00hrs on Monday 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th and 29th of September 2021 to 07.00hrs on the following mornings (Nightly Closure).
2. From 17.00hrs on 20th, 21st, 27th and 30th of September 2021 to 07.00hrs on the following mornings (Nightly Closure).
3. From 17.00hrs on the 22nd, 23rd and 28th of September 2021 to 07.00hrs on the following mornings (Nightly Closure).
Reason for Closure
To facilitate remedial works on the M8 Motorway
Alternative Routes
1. Detour via Junction 12 on M8 to R639 (Mitchelstown) to Junction 11 on M8.
2. Detour via Junction 12 on M8 to N73 to R639 (Mitchelstown Bypass) to Junction 13 on M8.
3. Detour via Junction 13 on M8 to R639 to N73 (Mitchelstown Bypass) to Junction 12 on M8.
