The Cork ladies footballers have a new manager.
Shane Ronayne was last night ratified as Cork boss by Cork LGFA for a term of three years.
The two time All Ireland winner with Mourneabbey takes over from Ephie Ftizgerald, who spent 6 years at the helm, winning an All Ireland title.
Ronanye had been in charge of the Waterford Senior Men's side, and had previously managed the Tipperary senior ladies football side.
In a statement issued last night Cork LGFA thanked Ephie Fitzgerald for his work over the past 6 years, and wished Ronanyne his backroom team and his players the very best of luck.
