The RSA says drivers should be extremely cautious when driving in "black ice"
There were multiple collisions on the roads this morning.
Two people sustained minor injuries in a two car road traffic collision on the Bandon side of the Innishannon bridge.
Emergency services have responded to the scene and traffic is heavy and slow in the area as a result.
Speaking to RedFM News, David Martin from the RSA has this advice for driving in icy conditions:
"In terms of driving in those types of black ice conditions. We advise drivers to slow down and use all your car controls delicately and leave extra distance between you and the vehicle in front of you."
