The IRFU have apologised for it's management of the women’s game
Last year 62 current and former Women’s players wrote to the Department of Sport saying they lost ‘all confidence’ in Irish rugby’s governing body.
The union says it will accept all 30 recommendations in an independent review, however the findings of said review are still not public.
They say they will spend an extra €1 million on women’s rugby and create two new roles.
Yesterday, women's director Anthony Eddy stepped down from his position.
