Joe Schmidt has returned to coaching with the Auckland Blues.
The former Ireland head coach will serve as a part-time support coach to Leon MacDonald.
Schmidt announced last month he’d be leaving his role as World Rugby’s Director of Rugby and High Performance at the end of this year.
The 56-year old was previously an assistant at the Blues between 2004 and 2007.
