Ronan O'Gara has signed a new deal with La Rochelle.The Corkman has put pen to paper on a three year contract extension.
O'Gara has steered the club to joint-top in the Top 14 and they're also set to face Leinster in the Heineken Champions Cup semis.
The 44-year-old is also likely to have an enhanced role at La Rochelle as their director of rugby Jonno Gibbes is set to become the new head-coach at Clermont.
In a statement, O'Gara said:
“I am extremely proud of the trust that Stade Rochelais continues to show me by appointing me as the head of the team.
“I am obviously very excited about next season, but first, we have important challenges ahead of us and above all a good season to end in the best possible way.”
