It's the third day of the search of the former family home of Kyran Durnin in Dundalk.
The eight year old is missing, presumed dead.
Gardaí launched a murder inquiry earlier this month, as they believe he may be dead for as long as two years.
Reporter Barry Whyte says neighbours are upset at the developments:
"On Monday these residents on Emer Terrace would have been going to work or bringing their kids to school just like any other day. However on Tuesday and yesterday when they were doing the same thing, they were passing Gardaí in forensic suits who were searching for a missing child who is presumed dead and this child used to live beside them in their street."
