A security guard was taken to hospital after a robbery in the city last night.
Two men went into a shop on Grand Parade around 11pm and attempted to take cash from the till.
A security guard tried to intervene but was injured while the men took off with the cash.
Gardaí say two men in their 30's were later arrested and taken to a local Garda Station.
